Dr. Galardi is a board-certified plastic surgeon and partner of Galardi/Rosenblum plastic surgery. He proudly represents Pure Clinical Skin Care as our medical director and lends his services as our injector and medical services advisor. He is a highly trained plastic surgeon, well-versed in innovative, cutting edge surgical techniques. A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Galardi graduated with honors from Bethany College with a degree in Biochemical Science and went on to earn his medical degree (M.D) from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. From there he moved to Hampton Roads where he completed his General Surgery training as Chief Resident at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.
Following completion of his General Surgery training, Dr. Galardi decided to pursue his true passion of Plastic Surgery. He was selected to attend the Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Miami, one of the premier cities for Plastic Surgery in the United States. During his three years in Miami, Dr. Galardi trained under some of the top Plastic Surgeons in the field of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also found time to give multiple peer-viewed presentations, publish research articles, and write multiple published chapters in “Operative Dictations in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.”
Here in Hampton Roads, Dr. Galardi performs a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures along with advanced minimally invasive, non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures including Botox and fillers. Dr. Galardi moved to the area with his wife Elizabeth, a native to Hampton Roads, along with their son, Dominic. Nick enjoys spending time with his family, many outdoor activities and traveling.
Dr. J. Byers Bowen joined Galardi/Rosenblum in May 2019, specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body; breast reconstruction; treatment and reconstruction of skin cancers; body contouring after massive weight loss; migraine headache surgery; and general reconstructive plastic surgery.
A native of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Bowen attended Davidson College where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While at Davidson, Dr. Bowen was a Division-I athlete, playing four years of football. Dr. Bowen went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Bowen completed his residency in General Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School, receiving multiple recognitions including Intern of the Year and the L.D. Britt Resident Award for Excellence in Education and Mentorship.
Dr. Bowen was selected to complete his fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The James Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the preeminent Plastic Surgery training programs in the nation. During his three years of Plastic Surgery fellowship, Dr. Bowen trained alongside the country’s leading Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeons. At Ohio State, Dr. Bowen conducted innovative research in nerve transfer for treatment of pain in amputee patients, known as targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR), and presented his findings at prestigious conferences across the United States and in Europe.
Dr. Bowen has been published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons and the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal.
Dr. Bowen lives in Norfolk with his wife, Ann, and their twins. He enjoys spending time with family, cycling, gardening, and wood-working.
